A few days ago, I've finally started programming the backbone of a game I'll make. This blog's title is a bit misleading, really. This will will contain programming stuff, but also game design and such, mostly for me to store ideas and all that sort of things.
Anyways, I've decided the game I'll be making will be called BlueSquare's Longest Journey for the Ultimate Level. Quite long, isn't it? The game will be an RPG, though I haven't quite decided what type of it it will be. It will either be a SRPG (And will borrow ideas from Disgaea), or a turn based combat RPG (and will still borrow ideas from Disgaea!). It will definitely be a parody, I've already got a few jokes written down.
Programming alone is quite difficult, really. OOP is a very tricky way to program in, mostly because you can screw it up very easily. I always have to watch out for classes that don't do what they're supposed to do, and always separate the game logic from the backbone. Also, since I'm a very unorganized person, I keep jumping from doing A to B. I really have to make a schedule one of these days.
Fat chance that'll happen.
